plums and PINK mushrooms

My parents have been visiting us for the past two weeks (hence the small amount of posting here). We did lots of cooking and ate lots of delicious veggies from the farmers market.
I came across these PINK oyster mushrooms, while I am a big Shitake fan I was totally taken in by the pretty pink on these and just had to try them - super delicious indeed.
My mother is the chief cobbler/crumble maker and made a plum one, we roasted the plums.
Now they have left and all is quite quiet in the house, they have gone on a super exciting trip out west seeing lots of the great national parks, Arches, Yosemite, Bryce, Zion......

I love fruits too! Natural sweetness and juicy. The mushroom oyster looks like a big flower petal.

Those pink oysters are amazing....fungus is fascinating! PS. I'm very partial to a bit of crumble myself. PPS. is cobbler the US name for crumble...? I wonder how that name came about...? Love the typography on the plums by the way!
