I like to organize things and my sketchbooks are no exception, this page has the theme of any thing starting with the letter P.
Peacocks, Polar Bears, Plum Pie, porridge, pancake, pan, Penguins.........

Petrified panda in pajamas in a polka dot parachute - I have actually made a finished watercolored piece of all of these things which I will dig out and show you some time............... (its kind of old).

Holiday bits

I have been really slack in posting this month. Things have been super busy which has been really fun.
Here's a few piccys of my gift tags this year, I didn't have time to print up the gift wrap this year.
I also made some magnets, this time I glued and varnished some of my stamp designs to little squares of wood to give to friends and family.

3M post-it notes

Here are some Post-it notes I designed for 3M they are in the stores right now, you can find them in Walmart, Staples, Office Max, Jewel Osco and lots of other places.....
My niece (who lives in England) said she found them at Sainsbury's there, she told me there weren't many left on the shelf!!
(I would love to know if you find them anywhere else, they are being sold globally).

Well I guess I have been busy, because I have been meaning to post this picture of our pumpkin since Halloween!
I wanted to do a critter this year, something different from last years Haunted House.
You may have seen this chap several times before.

Three Little Dogs

I gave a lecture on my work last week at Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
I was given a tour of the art department which is super nice and has lots of great facilities (way more than we ever had at school)!
Thanks to everyone there for making me feel so very welcome.

In my presentation I thought it would be fun to show one or two (really old) pieces to the students from my time at art school, this piece was illustrating a story I had read about a woman who loved little lap dogs and liked to dress them up and treat them like little children.

I hope you all had a fun weekend (and/or delicious Thanksgiving - mine certainly was!!!).
