Vacation Snaps.... a few more

Wall, South Dakota
A cute Marmot in The Grand Tetons, Wyoming
yes indeed the stream coming straight out of that glacier
was cold but oh so refreshing on our feet. I could only
manage a couple of seconds at a time!
Floating in the Great Salt Lake, Utah.
The water was pink and blue!
Pelicans circling above.
Spiral Jetty by Robert Smithson 1970
Standing on the dazzling white salt flats, Utah.

Very fun, thanks for sharing! Blows my mind that all of this is right here in the USA. (I am long, long, loooong overdue for a road trip.)

I used to be obsessed with the spiral jetty. Isn't it the coolest?! The badlands are so bad ass. I love all the little bits of personality you're giving your photos! Give us some more.

Dear Amy,

I've missed you and your fabulous art! My goodness, you've been busy this summer. New books (YAYYY!), and remodeling and an anniversary (congratulations!) and a vacation.... Whew! You never fail to amaze me with your talent and cheer and adorable artwork. I always leave with a huge smile on my face.

I wanted to thank you for the sweet and heartfelt message you left for me earlier this summer. I'm so sorry it's taken me a while to thank you, but I didn't want you to think I forgot. It meant a lot to me. Your words brought strength and hope and healing. Thank you for your friendship.

xoxo
