I drew and printed the outlines and then colored each one individually 

with pencil crayons so they are all a bit different

Papyrus - Amy Cartwright cards

 

Yesterday I got a parcel from Papyrus with a couple of boxes of my cards.

I love getting the final prints in my hands, the owl envelope is really sweet and has some of the detailing on it.

HAppY BiRdS

I made wrapping paper for a friends birthday present.....

I also made her one of these for a birthday card, as you turn the wheel around it says:

1. Happy

2. Birthday

3. her name

4. and then the little birdy.

Badger on a Banjo sketch

I don't always sketch first, sometimes I go straight to the finished piece but here's a sketch of my badger on a a banjo.

Bunbrella

I made this little bunny last August and called him Bunbrella, it kind of reminds me of a soft toy I was given when I was born that we ended up calling 'White Ted' and we still call him White Ted to this day, I have another soft toy called 'Happy' I also used to have some imaginary friends - a bird called Tolick and a little dog called Hungry.
I also had a real hamster called Sausage - he really looked and felt like one!

Illustration Friday - Stringy

We were just visiting my Mother and Father in-law and he is an amazing & excellent banjo player, so right away I thought of banjo strings, as for the badger - well my parents have been telling me their lawn keeps getting torn apart on a nightly basis by badgers!

I still think badgers are cute.

Mugs

for holiday gifts last year I designed some mugs.
I wanted the whole design to wrap around the mug.
