A Coventry Wedding - Book Jacket

Here's a book jacket I illustrated I just noticed it on amazon
I always enjoy doing book jackets and its always interesting to see how they look after the type has been added.

Just for fun here's a closer look at my illustration and how it looked before the type!

Pika Package Project - amy's stickers

I am off to mail out my contribution to the Pika Package Project and thought I would add a few of my stickers for good measure.

I am taking part in Octobers Pika Package project, it's a great concept thought up by the super talented Amy Ng from Pika Land.

For those of you who have never heard about it you can read more about it here and see some lovely pictures of the previous participants art.

Here is my contribution in process:

Its a production line at the moment and I have to mail it out this week.

I went with a doggy theme because who doesn't like a cute lil pup?

As you can probably see the little circles go behind the dog card and I hammer in a little stud and washer, you turn the circle and see what our little dog friend is thinking..........

Tall Tail

Mr fisherman reminds me of Cornwall and some of the characters you might meet there

His yellow rubbery jacket reminds me of one I had
when I was little it had NO insulation at all and
wasn't very flexible especially when it was cold

It has been a little rainy here in the past week, and it does feel like summer is coming to an end, which is making me feel a bit sad because I hate winter and any time its not searingly HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!
